Campaign encouraging women to apply for senior UN Peace Operations positions

DAR ES SALAAM, March 16 2018-Currently 28% of internationally-recruited staff in UN Peace Operations are women. The UN System-Wide Gender Parity Strategy sets a goal of 2028 to close this gender gap. The Department of Field Support manages rosters of pre-cleared candidates for possible fast-track selection in UN Peace Operations. However, currently only 32% of rostered candidates for field mission profiles are women. #MyImpactStory
